The individuality of Salzburg's deluxe castle hotel is represented in its prominent location. The HOTEL SCHLOSS MÖNCHSTEIN***** is situated on top of the Mönchsberg in the centre of the beautiful Baroque city Salzburg and surrounded by its own enchanting park of 14.000 m².
Our guests appreciate the advantages of our hotel, which is over the rooftops of Salzburg, nevertheless the Old Town is reachable within seven minutes with the Mönchsberg lift.
The 24 exclusive rooms, suites and premises have been well reconstructed with due respect referring to the tradition of the ancient castle. We offer rooms with the design of the „Wiener Werkstätten“ or with the incomparable character of a castle. Our bathrooms are equipped very exclusively with rare marble.
As the perfect highlight we opened a 300m² exclusive wellness area with steam bath and sauna in May 2008. Our competent team is going to spoil you with the newest wellness treatments of massages and beauty in spacious premises!

The room was beautiful and had an amazing view of Salzburg which was not that obvious to us from the description of the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful but not overbearing or snobby like in some other higher end hotels. Their restaurant was very good as well.
